Endowment Fund

The Endowment Fund helps to secure the long-term future of the FRHS by providing reliable annual investment income to support the organization in perpetuity. Endowment funding ensures that the museum has the ability to constantly evolve in order to meet the needs of the collections and of the community we serve, and offers flexibility for unexpected needs.

It is frequently assumed that the FRHS has a sufficient endowment, but in fact the opposite is true. Despite secure investments and proper fiduciary stewardship, our endowment is well below that of our peer institutions and does not meet the organization’s financial needs.

To rectify this critical situation, we are actively seeking contributions from individual donors, foundations, and corporations. Your gift (follow this link) to the Endowment Fund will help to generate an increased infusion of annual income and secure the FRHS for generations to come. Contributions in excess of $10,000 may be designated as “named funds” at your discretion.
