The ring features a raised miniature of the tower of the original BMC Durfee High School. This belonged to Norma Ellen Dubiel, who was a member of the Durfee Class of 1958!<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Durfee High School began issuing class rings during the 1910s; beforehand, students received pins during their senior year. This ring was manufactured by L.G. Balfour Company in Attleboro, MA. The company was founded in 1913 by Lloyd Garfield Balfour (1887-1973). The L.G. Balfour Company is still in business today!<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Here at the FRHS, we have an extensive collection pertaining to BMC Durfee High School.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is a gallery post.
