While the bottle may be empty of its contents, it still has the original paper labels for Zepp\u2019s Lustral for Dandruff. Zepp\u2019s was a 1920 trademark of T. Noon & Company, the same company that manufactured last week\u2019s Camphor Cream.<\/p>\n
The tonic would be rubbed into the scalp after a thorough brushing and could be used every two to three days for general care. It was suggested that \u201cthe hair and scalp are washed thoroughly once in two weeks at least\u201d to promote healthy hair. However, hairbrushes themselves were to be cleaned one a week \u201cwith soap and warm water, then rinse in some antiseptic solution.\u201d<\/p>\n
Today, it is generally recommended to wash hair with shampoo every two to three days, unless there is a need for more. And while it is important to keep your hairbrush clean, having a clean, nourished scalp is the goal of healthy hair.<\/p>\n
