Though marketed as “London Hair Pins,” the manufacturer is unknown and pins such as these could be purchased in all sorts of shops.
Hair pins came in a variety of shapes, styles, and materials. Some were adorned with colorful ornaments, though all served to keep a lady’s hair style intact! Those these pins may be plain in design, it is incredibly rare to find the pins and the original box relatively unscathed!
