Take for instance this rather small and adorable version by the Piso Company. Not only is it filled with valuable information about postal rates, moon phases, and a cure for consumption, but it was also a convenient \u201clittle\u201d dual-purpose advertisement.<\/p>\n<p>The front cover promoted the Piso Company, a manufacturer of patent medicines, while the back cover promoted the E. S. Anthony Company of Fall River.<\/p>\n<p>Edward S.
