In so doing, many of us have family traditions to ring in the new year \u2013 carrying change in your pocket to promote wealth, eating 12 grapes, or hanging onions on the front door. Traditions aside, what better way to do an \u201cout with the old and in with the new\u201d than with a calendar?<\/p>\n<p>This 1906 calendar from the American Japan Tea Co. (c.1895-c.1938) is in absolutely stunning condition. The pages of the calendar show some aging but, the colors throughout the artwork are vibrant and rich \u2013 as if it was done yesterday. The level of detail on the flowers suggests that a swift breeze could float the petals right off the page.
